There are realtors by the dozens around town. I really had no idea how you go about finding a realtor, even after reading a bunch of books about home ownership. But I've decided that I'll be using Community Realty when I'm actually ready to buy.
I did meet with the realtor and I guess I'm on my way.....signing the disclosure form and buyer/agency agreement certainly make it all seem formal enough!. Honestly in some ways I feel quite silly that this is all so unknown and new to me at 41, so many people are buying their first homes in their 20's sometimes I feel like life has been on hold for me, and I feel foolish and stunted, But that's silly I guess.
