I watched the first episode of True Blood tonight. I only started reading the Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris a few months ago, when the most recent installment was released. To be honest I read most of them during a “trashy novel” weekend I had a few months ago when I was feeling blah. So yeah… I don’t consider them great literature, but I enjoyed them immensely and Harris completely successed in suspension of disbelief for me. The world of vampires who have “come out of the coffin” amused me to no end.
